Terms of Service

1) Acceptance

By using this site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2) Who Can Use It

You must be old enough to form a contract in your region (or have a parent/guardian’s permission). You’re responsible for following local laws when using the service.

3) Accounts & Security

• Keep your login details private and secure.
• You’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the service or other users.

4) Your Content

You own the content you create (like study cards/flashcards). You give us a limited permission to store and process it only to run the service (e.g., display your cards to you, back it up, and operate the app). You’re responsible for the content you upload—don’t post anything illegal or infringing.

5) Acceptable Use

• No breaking the law or violating others’ rights.
• No spam, scraping, or trying to hack or disrupt the service.
• No uploading malware or content that’s unlawful or harmful.
• Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

6) Plans, Payments & Subscriptions

We offer paid features. Current plans are shown on the pricing page.

• Billing & Auto-Renewal. If you purchase a subscription, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method the published price and any applicable taxes on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term.
• Manage or Cancel. You can manage your plan or cancel renewal from your account’s billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you’ll keep access until then.
• Trials & Promotions. If a trial or promo applies, it runs for the stated time. When it ends, standard pricing starts unless you cancel before renewal.
• Refunds. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable and partially used periods are not credited. If something isn’t working as expected, contact us at [email protected].
• Taxes. Prices may exclude taxes. You’re responsible for any applicable taxes; we may collect them where required.
• Price Changes. We may change prices or features, with notice for active subscriptions. Changes take effect on your next renewal.
• Failed Payments. If a charge fails, we may retry, request you update your payment method, or suspend/downgrade access until payment is resolved.
• Chargebacks & Fraud. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in chargebacks, fraud, or abuse, and may dispute chargebacks with relevant evidence.

7) Our IP

The site’s code, design, and branding are our intellectual property. Don’t copy, modify, or distribute them without permission. This does not affect your ownership of your own content (Section 4).

8) Service Changes

We may improve, change, or discontinue parts of the service. We’ll try to avoid breaking changes, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent storage of your content—please keep your own backups of important data.

9) Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties about fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Use the service at your own risk.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11) Termination

You can stop using the service any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed for security, maintenance, or legal reasons.

12) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws where we operate. Any disputes will be handled by the courts with proper jurisdiction in that location.

13) Changes to These Terms

If we update these Terms, we’ll change the “Last Updated” date above and, if changes are material, we’ll provide reasonable notice. If you continue using the service after changes take effect, you agree to the new Terms.
